In August 2003 Holy Fire Ministry Training School (HFMTS) was launched to raise up passionately devoted worshippers and workers of Jesus Christ who are firmly grounded in the Word and ablaze with the Holy Spirit’s fire. On this website you will find our mission, vision, passion, distinctive characteristics and curriculum.

Holy Fire Ministry Training School is a unique two-year school offering accessibility to a wide range of students. Classes are held two nights a week at a central location in Brisbane, with costs kept to a minimum. Students are involved in a combination of class-room study, self-study and practical experience. You may take classes on a part-time or full-time basis. You may also choose to take one unit (a semester in length) and finish the other three units at later times even if you cannot do them in sequential order. However, we do encourage students to study the full two years to get the full experience of the school.

HFMTS has also launched iTraining - a revolutionary distance education program using the latest MP3 computer technology. By using an iPod (a portable computer device able to fit in your pocket) you can study anywhere - at home, on the train or in a park.

The school puts a high value on excellence and quality in training and teaching. Accordingly, the two year course examines every single book of the Bible, as well as offering classes in practical ministry, theology, Biblical interpretation and Christian history.

Our course is designed so the student can earn a Diploma in Biblical Studies & Practical Ministry (non-government accredited). Part-time students may also earn certificates of completion after completing subjects or units.

NEW! - We have just developed iTraining Video. This means you can do the school by Video iPod - hearing and seeing the teachings. We are in the Beta (testing) stage currently, but everything is looking very good and we have one semester already on video. Contact us if you are interested.
